Milan Novakov heads the Corporate, M&A and Competition practice at MIJATOVIC & PROVIDZALO. With more than a decade of experience in these areas, Milan advises domestic and international clients on complex transactions, corporate governance matters and strategic restructurings, including mergers, spin-offs, demergers, changes to capital structures and shareholder matters.

Before joining MIJATOVIC & PROVIDZALO, Milan worked at leading regional law firms in Serbia, where he established a reputation as a commercially minded legal adviser on sophisticated transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.

Milan has specialised expertise in competition and antitrust law and provides strategic advice on merger control, abuse of dominance and restrictive agreements.

Drawing on his extensive experience in this field, he served as Chairman of the Legal Committee of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, where he actively contributed to legal dialogue between the Serbian and German business communities.
